Quantum Moderator NAA

Fertilizer and plant growth Regulator based on Naphthylacetic acid (NAA), belongs

to a class of auxins. It is designed for the premature flowers and fruits dropping,

thinning of fruits on apple trees and rooting of other crops during vegetative

propagation by stem or leaf cuttings.

Сhemical composition (% w/v) and properties

  • K2O – 1,0 % (10 g/l)
  • NAA (α-Naphthaleneacetic acid) – 5% (50 g/l)
  • Organic acids – 0,25% (2,5 g/l)
  • рН – 6,5-8,0

The action of auxins includes:

  • Cell elongation and stem lengthening.
  • Stimulation of the formation of adventitious roots.
  • Promotion of fruiting in the absence of pollination.

The use of Quantum Moderator NAA aims to thin out and reduce the load on the trees. It achieves this by:

  • Promoting the formation of productive buds and preventing periodic fruiting cycles.
  • Increasing the size and improving the quality of the fruits.
  • Preventing premature fruit drop.

This product is suitable for use on red and yellow apple varieties but is not recommended for Red Delicious and Gloucester varieties.

Stimulating the rooting of cuttings of fruit, ornamental, berry crops, and grapes:

Cuttings are soaked in the working solution (2-4 ml per 1 liter of water), immersing them to a depth of approximately 2 cm. They are kept in the solution for about 30 minutes.

Quantum Moderator NAA can also be used to promote flowering and prevent fruit drop, suppress the regrowth of shoots after tree pruning, and regulate the ratio of male and female flowers in vegetable crops. It is also used to stimulate tillering, formation of ears, and increase grain weight in cereal crops.
